Introduction

eLibrarian is desktop software that maintains and opens flight manuals that are synchronized with US Airways' Electronic Library on Wings. eLibrarian maintains local copies of manuals so the pilot can have the assurance that what is being used is the latest version of the manuals.

 

Features

• Opens manuals for viewing, searching, and printing
• Synchronizes directly with Wings’ Electronic Library and maintains copies of manuals in its own local vault
• Every time the program is started, if an Internet connection is present, it automatically compares what it has and offers to synchronize any revisions if needed
• If after 90 days with no Internet, it will not open a manual until eLibrarian can synchronize over the Internet
• Built-in web browser with access to Wings

Requirements

• Windows XP or later
• 14.6 megs free HD space
• Internet connection (for syncing manuals only)

Limitations

• Will not work inside the US Airways' corporate firewall, unless installed with a personal login
